I worked as a coordinator for 6 recording units responsible for capturing the entirety of the festival over its 8-day duration. In addition, I operated one of the recording cameras, attending various activities and capturing them. At the conclusion of the festival, I took charge of editing the material to produce the highlight video for the 21st edition of Bogoshorts. BOGOSHORTS is a Film festival specialized in short formats, official qualifier for the Hollywood Oscar Awards and the GOYA Awards of the Spanish Academy, which brings together around 400 short films from Colombia and around the world every December in competitive, thematic and retrospective sections; complemented with training activities

"Martina y los Mundos Perdidos" stands as a significant project in my professional journey, where I served as one of the two camera operators and contributed to the coordination of the editing team. This television series posed a captivating challenge as I collaborated closely with the director and director of photography to ensure the optimal capture of each frame. The series took us on a journey through the Pacific coast of Colombia, presenting unique challenges in recording conditions that required adaptability and resourcefulness. In addition to my camera operating role, I also seamlessly integrated the use of a Dji camera stabilizer, enhancing the visual quality of the footage. This project not only pushed the boundaries of my technical skills but also allowed me to immerse myself in the diverse and stunning landscapes of the Colombian Pacific.

What will my cat think of me? Lucas wonders as he caresses Pancho, his older brother, whom they adopted when Lucas was in first grade, and who became his accomplice and company. Pancho is 5 years old, he is intelligent, with a sarcastic personality, he loves memes about cats that conquer humanity and he maintains communication with the other animals in the building, Lora from 3B, Cuy from 4C, the dog from 6A, and some strays passing by. Del patas is a children’s series about a thinking cat who wants to understand humanity by studying his family.

In collaboration with the globally recognized multinational Colgate Palmolive, I played a pivotal role in shaping and delivering key projects throughout 2023. One of the most relevant ones was the development of a video to commemorate Colgate Palmolive's 80 years in Colombia. From pre-production, where I actively contributed to idea generation and shooting plans, to serving as the first assistant camera during filming—maintaining constant communication with the director of photography and camera operator—culminating in the successful editing of the final video. These experiences showcased my multifaceted contributions in delivering top-notch visual content for an esteemed global brand.

SierraCol Energy is the No. 1 independent oil production company in Colombia. It’s a material, full-cycle oil and gas exploration and production company, with headquarters in Bogotá, Colombia, and operations in conventional onshore oil assets in the Llanos, Middle Magdalena and Putumayo basins. For more than a year we worked on various projects where I served as a camera operator, editor, and played a pivotal role in the pre-production team, contributing to the conceptualization of video ideas. My responsibilities included recording in various sectors of the company to produce a range of videos, such as the corporate video, highlighting their NGO El Alcaravan, showcasing environmental protection efforts in their operations, and other projects.

La Tierra de las Aves is a documentary short film that portrays the lifestyle and experience of Maria Nelly Medina, a 58 year-old birder who found her passion for the world of birds after already making a living out of her career. Maria Nelly’s life is transformed after she decides to immerse herself in the activity of bird watching. This documentary seeks to narrate the stories and experiences of this character, how her life changes and revolves around nature and her perspective of how Colombians should inform themselves to preserve the diversity that characterizes its country. This is a story very close to my heart; it's the tale of my aunt, and I wanted to find the best way to portray her passionate pursuits. I teamed up with Sofia, and together, we co-directed what has become this documentary. Our aim is not only to showcase the activity that she loves but also to capture the inherent beauty of Colombia.
